    I think pop up retail is especially useful to test the waters for small and medium scale enterprises. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for pop up retail as threat from e commerce is very realistic

    • Thank your for the comment, Dr. Gaurav. Yes, launching a pop-up certainly is a good way to test an idea or market without having to invest too much capital. As for ecommerce, I do think it’s interesting that more and more e-tailers are using pop-ups to enter the brick-and-mortar realm. In my opinion, this is a strong indicator that b&m retail is NOT going anywhere.

        I think technology is a great leveller for B &M , We cannot yet rule that B & M is headed towards a lower pedestal, I think through technology they can match consumer expectations.
